Build an event, then drive it from ChatGPT or Claude — the agent runs your tools and renders your UI right inside the chat.
Why this matters
This little event app is also an MCP server. Build an event here — tiers, tickets, a promo reel — then connect it to ChatGPT or Claude. The agent lists and creates events, issues QR tickets and renders the promo video by calling your tools, and each result shows up as a designed mini-app right inside the chat — not a wall of JSON. Trigger a render from the chat and watch it appear live on this page.
An `mcp/` folder turns the app into a Model Context Protocol server at /_mcp. Each tool runs as the signed-in user against the platform database; tool results link to a UI template that the platform serves as a self-contained widget (the MCP Apps standard), so the same mini-app renders in both ChatGPT and Claude. The widget frames a real, token-authorized page from this app, which live-updates over realtime as the cloud render completes.
AI agents are becoming a primary way people use software. When your app is an MCP server, every feature you already built becomes something an assistant can do on the user’s behalf — book, draft, look up, generate — and your own branded UI renders inside the conversation. It’s a new front door to your product that you get almost for free.
Normally exposing an app to agents means hand-building an OAuth server, a tool protocol, a hosting story and per-client UI. On Maravilla the MCP server, its OAuth login, the scoped database access and the in-chat UI are all platform primitives in the same app — you write tools, not infrastructure.
